This week all eyes in the tech world were focussed on Apple (APPL) and its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. And as we see most years, rumors leading up to the conference spoil the surprise on many of the new developments Apple ends up unveiling. We knew that Apple would show off its new mobile operating system, and we knew that we would probably not get to see the highly anticipated Apple television. What we got was pretty much what we expected, plus a little more in the form of a new Macbook Pro with an ultra-high resolution retina display. With Apple being the size that it is, and catering to an ever-growing fan base, there will always be winners and losers when Apple releases new products or updates old ones. We are going to look at a few of them and see how they may be affected by what we were given at this year’s conference.
