Stocks end day relatively unchanged

Closing out the day… Stocks ended the day mixed as the market looks for new levels after last week's big run up. The looming battle over the debt ceiling may also be starting to impact investors already.

Among the high-volume stocks today Facebook (FB), Citigroup (C) and Amazon.com (AMZN) booked gains while Apple (AAPL), Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Celgene (CELG) all moved lower. The Chicago Board Options Exchange Volatility Index closed the day down 0.05 at 13.79 a 0.29% decrease. The Put/Call Volume Ratio is at 0.69 while the Put/Call Open Interest ratio is at 0.89.
