U.S. stocks are down Monday morning, continuing last weeks downward trend. The S&P 500 is down 0.57% and the Dow is down 0.54%.
Asian markets were mixed Monday as protests unsettled Hong Kong markets. The Hang Seng was down 1.90% while the Nikkei was up 0.50%.
European markets are mostly lower this morning. The FTSE is down 0.19%, and the DAX is down 0.44%.
Energy futures are mixed today. West Texas Intermediate crude oil is $93.20 per barrel, down $0.34 and natural gas is up $0.01. Metals prices are moving up. Gold is up $7.60 and platinum is up $4.20. The Dollar is down versus the Euro and up against the Yen.
