U.S. stocks are up slightly to start the week. The S&P 500 is up 0.24% while the Dow is up 0.12%.
Asian markets finished Monday mixed, as China’s trade data beat expectations. The Nikkei was down 1.15% and the Hang Seng rose 0.24%.
European stocks are higher this morning after a slow start. The FTSE is up 0.20%, and the DAX is up 0.48%.
Energy futures are mostly down this morning. West Texas Intermediate crude oil is down to $84.66 per barrel, down $1.17 and natural gas is down less than a cent. Metals prices are up this morning. Gold is up $5.60 and platinum is up $1.90. The Dollar is down against both the Euro and the Yen.
