The cold reality of investing is that it is not easy. Long-term investing success requires a lot things, including hard work, determination, and a decent amount of luck.
I say luck because there is no way to guarantee anything. Even the smartest minds on Wall Street make mistakes from time to time. Understanding the basic fundamentals of the market can take a lifetime, and deciding which stocks to invest in takes a lot of work.
Having said that, there are some stocks that even someone with absolutely no investing experience could determine would be a sound investment.

Unfortunately, these are not always the best investments. Take social media giant Twitter (TWTR), or office goods retailer Staples (SPLS). Both companies are household names, but neither has done much for shareholders to celebrate lately.
However, there are some obvious stocks that are good investments, and should attract both experienced and inexperienced investors.
Let’s take a closer look at five great stocks that even an idiot would buy.
