Five stocks with high scores to watch this earnings season

Earnings season is just getting under way, and the market will get clues as to what to expect through the earnings season from the big-name stocks that report early in the earnings cycle.

Earnings seasons are always a stressful time for investors, since even the strongest stocks can encounter major selling pressure should a company fail to hit analyst estimates for its most recent quarter, or if it offers forward guidance that is weaker than the market expects.

Stock and options research firm InvestorsObserver recently launched its new Stock Score Reports, and we wanted to look for five companies that are set to report earnings over the next week and see how they rank on the new services.

The Stock Score Report analyzes multiple forms of data, including both technical and fundamental information to scores stocks. If we can find stocks that have shown recent strength in the market, and combine a solid score on the Stock Score Report, we should be able to pinpoint a few stocks to consider buying ahead of their upcoming reports.

Here are five early earnings reporters, and a look at how the rank on the Stock Score Report.
