You can always bet on Americans growing older, and by that I mean demographically, not individually. The problem is projected to grow worse through 2030, and it is a problem, because it means the ratio of workers to retirees in society falls, putting a strain on everyone. Everyone, that is, except those who offer services to the aged. Senior Housing Properties does just that, investing primarily in hospitals, nursing homes, senior apartments, independent living properties, and assisted living properties.
