(RTTNews) - Dow Chemical Co. (DOW) gapped open higher on Thursday and has held steady in the first 15 minutes of the session. The stock is now up $3.33 to $45.00. The early gains have come after the company announced a deal to form a joint venture with Kuwait Petroleum. Thursday's early advance took the stock to its highest level in 5 weeks.
