Big 5 Sporting Q4 Sales Decline Marginally; Updates Q4, FY07 EPS View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Thursday, Big 5 Sporting Goods Corp. (BGFV), reported fourth quarter sales of $232.1 million, compared to $234.5 million in the same period of last year. Same store sales declined 4.7%. In fiscal 2007, net sales rose 2.5% to $898.3 million from $876.8 million a year ago. Same store sales declined 1.0% for the full year. For the 2007 fourth quarter, the company now expects earnings per share in the range of $0.25 to $0.28. For the full year, the company now estimates to realize earnings per share in the range of $1.22 - $1.25.
