(MSFT) Tuesday revealed the launch of certain enhancements to smartphones in order to improve the growing work and personal needs of users. The company unveiled the latest Internet Explorer Mobile, designed to provide desktop-grade Web browsing to Windows Mobile phones. Microsoft also introduced the updated Windows Mobile Software, Windows Mobile 6.1.
The latest Internet Explorer Mobile allows users to easily view full-screen Web pages and multimedia on the Web with a smartphone. Using the latest standards and technologies, the new Internet Explorer Mobile provides a new mobile Internet experience to people. The new version will be made available to mobile phone partners in the third quarter.
The updated Windows Mobile 6.1 will provide various key updates such as the capability to make the most critical information quickly available, faster phone setup and enhanced features adapted for the small screen. It also features the innovative System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008 or Exchange Server 2007 SP1. With the new updates, users can, among others, stay up-to-date, experience intuitive and simple phone usage, save time with new features and keep business information protected.

The innovations we've added to our Windows Mobile software ultimately make it easier to manage your world.'
MSFT is currently trading at $29.19, up $0.81 or 2.85%, on 33.10 million shares.
