(RTTNews) - Citing a person familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal reported that France Telecom
(FTE) is considering a bid to acquire Sweden's TeliaSonera AB
(TEE.L) (TLSNF.PK). Earlier the French newspaper Le Figaro also reported that the French company is eyeing TeliaSonera.
This deal, which is reportedly valued at a minimum of 34 billion euros, could give France Telecom exposure to northern Europe and the Baltics and also to Turkey market.
