(RTTNews) - The Orem, Utah-based online business optimization software services provider Omniture, Inc.
(OMTR) said in a Form 4 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday that Cocolalla, LLC, owned by its Chief Executive Officer Joshua James, has sold 30,000 shares of common stock. The stock sale was conducted under a prearranged 10b5-1 trading plan.
According to the filing, James sold 30,000 shares of Omniture common stock in forty transactions on April 16. James reported that he sold the shares in a range of $20.91 to $21.38 per share. James is the managing member of Cocolalla, LLC and has sole voting and sole investment power with respect to all shares of common stock held by Cocolalla, LLC.
The sale was conducted under a prearranged 10b5-1 trading plan which allows a company insider to set up a program in advance for such transactions and proceed with them even if he or she comes into possession of material nonpublic information.
James, one of the founders of Omniture, has served as a director since 1998. James is currently the chief executive officer since 1998 and president since July 2006. From 1996 to 1998, James co-founded and co-managed several entities that were predecessors. James also served on the Brigham Young University eBusiness Advisory Board and is a Platinum Founder of the BYU Center for Entrepreneurship.

OMTR closed Thursday's regular trading session at $21.88, up $0.51 or 2.39% on a volume of 1.35 million shares. In Thursday's after-hours trading, the stock gained a further $1.22 or 5.58% to close at $23.10.
