ComScore (SCOR) NewsBite - ComScore Profit Surges on Strong Revenue

ComScore Inc. (SCOR) opened at 23.86. So far today, the stock has hit a low of 22.65 and a high of 24.95. SCOR is now trading at 23.01, up 3.17 (13.29%). The stock hit its 52 week high of 42 in October and set its 52 week low of 17.31 in March. SCOR has been trading lower since the month of October of last year. Internet data analysis provider comScore announced yesterday evening its first-quarter profit surged 64% to $2.5 million on strong subscription revenue and raised its sales outlook for the full year. The company posted adjusted earnings of 18 cents per share on revenue of $26.4 million, exceeding analysts' forecast for profit of 10 cents per share on revenue of $26.1 million. On the news, an Oppenheimer analyst upgraded the stock this morning to "Outperform" from "Perform."
