Yingli Green Energy (YGE) NewsBite - YGE Fall on Market Worries
Posted: Tuesday, October 13, 2009 10:09 AM EDT
Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) opened at $13.60. So far today, the stock has hit a low of $13.18 and a high of $13.62. YGE is now trading at $13.30, down $0.30 (-2.21%). Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $2.50 to a high of $16.35. YGE shares are trading lower this morning after a disappointing earnings report from consumer products giant Johnson and Johnson (JNJ) triggered worries among investors that corporate earnings may not reflect the recent runup in stock prices, sending the market lower at the opening bell. This could be a bad sign for YGE. Technical indicators for the stock are bearish and S&P does not currently have a STARS rating for YGE. If you are looking for a hedged play on YGE the stock seems like it could be a candidate for a December out-of-the-money bear-call credit spread above the 15 range.
