U.S. stocks are lower early Thursday as after Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen expressed concern over elevated equity valuations. The S&P 500 is down 0.23%, and the Dow is off 0.24%. Initial claims rose to 265,000 for the week ending May 2 from 262,000 the prior week.
